This is driving me MAD someone that speaks italian, translate.
Okay, so this I know is StUPID but I have to know. http://www.youtube.com/wa...ture=player_embedded#! Conan says 2 phrases, or maybe 3 in I think the language is Italian. WHAT IS HE SAYING?? I don't even like that guy. But the commercial is driving me nuts. Someone please watch and translate it to English for me.

I think he's saying that he's rather displeased but his hovercraft is full of eels. I may be a little off there though.

the last word "perfecto" ....uhhhh I'm going out on a limb here... but it translates roughly as PERFECT! The rest of it... you'll have to take their word for it...sounds reasonable.... but I don't have a clue.

Yeah, but I can't let this one go... sorry, that "Scallivanti" sounding thing he says. I tried google translate but not knowing ditillidick about Italian, I can't seem to spell it right to get a translation. Anyone know what this one word means in Italian? I even went so far as to find the editor's notes and behind the scenes footage for the filming of the commercial and watched it with no luck. This one is driving me absolutely insane.

I think the 2nd part is avanti which means 'onwards' or 'forward'...but the first bit I have no idea. JR

I'ma going to go learn Italian to figure this out, or buy a plane ticket to Italy, to go ask someone in person. I refuse to let this go. Greg, Awesome answers, and I have a feeling from his tone in the video, that you might even be right, but being as you put the question marks in there, something tells me you aren't sure. I still want to know for 100%. Also, on a side note, I am dissapointed, that in a worldwide forum, where I am sure at least 2% of the people on here know Itialian, or know someone who does, that I haven't gotten a strait answer. I bet at least 5 people that frequent the coffee house speak Italian, and yet I haven't got a strait answer. That to me is just sad. So why am I angry? Arg

It's just one of those things that became the principle of the matter faster than not. I want to figure it out because it is possible to figure out, and yet I haven't. And because I tried, and failed, and it is just sad that I did. I don't wana cry uncle, I want to know.

Come to think of it, Greg, I think I speak almost as much Itallian as you do. In addition, I can also speak enough Spanish to place an order at a Taco Bell. I don't know if that helps translate the text for the OP, but I'm putting it out there anyway. You're welcome, File
