Any good Siren sounds from Sonar PE7?

I'm looking for some good siren sounds, as in war sirens or alarms, like the ones they used in world war II. VST advice would also be very welcome! I just need something that sounds like a world war II siren (Or any war siren if it's really nice!), the ones they play when they're under attack.

I think it's an air raid siren i'm looking for.

But anyway a clear audio clip would probably even do better! Ofcourse if i don't infringe anything by doing so.

Hi Severed I have had an interest in sound effects for a long time and have several fairly large collections. I can send that effect to you. Norrie needed that effect as well. It can be a wave file. I have one effect that has several of them in a row. The air raid takes a while to do a full cycle. What is good is that these days you can alter the timing and keep it on pitch or transpose its key. Quality is pretty good. Some of them better than others but very useable. One of them is definitely the real WWII siren and it sounds like it was recorded then.

All I need is a standard email address and I can send a file up to 100 Meg  through 'You Send It' for free.

A quick Google search for "sound effects air raid siren" resulted in a LOT of sites with free .wav and .mp3 files of that sort of thing. Search with those keywords and I'm sure you'll find exactly what you're looking for.

    Hi

Jeff Above sent me some Siren Sounds a few months back for a track I was working on they were great and did just the job I was looking for. there was a few different ones all in the one file.

I think I used the second one from what I remember. I then alterd the timeing just a little to fit the song and it was awesome

I still need to finishe the song though I keep puting it off haha

Any synth w/ a sine wave and a triangle lfo can work in a pinch, Severed.  done it that way.  Reverb is a plus.

There's a good fun VST one on this page... (along with some lunatic dub delay units which are fun too)

Don't know if it's the right style for what you want but it may be handy for somebody.

i make my own siren sounds with guitar and amp and tremelo bar and feedback.
very organic, way more fun than copping some clip!
