I got X1 but it hasn't come yet. Can't wait to get it and see for myself how it runs.

I got a Cavalry 2 bay hard drive cradle. Been wanting one of those since I first saw them a few months ago. Also got a 1 TB HD to stick in it.

It does seem a little quirky now that I've had it for awhile. There have been a couple of reboots where it isn't recognized by the system and I've had to turn it off and then back on for Windows to see it. And now and then the box that pops up when you insert new media asking what you want to do pops up. Not sure why but it does seem to suggest some kind of interruption in the connection. I may try swapping the USB cable to see if it makes any difference.

That kinda sucks, does it have a firewire port?

USB only. Overall, I'm not happy with its periodic disconnection for no apparent reason and I'll probably put the HD inside my tower. Great idea in theory but in practice it's not working out for me.
