can't find superior samples in 64 bit

I just upgraded to a new quad core computer and am going through reinstalling all of my programs.  I'm running Sonar 8.5 in 64 bit for the first time and am  little confused about bridging plugins.  I'm able to load Superior Drummer and see the gui but there are no samples.  The path apears to be correct but it fails to load anything.  Anyone else experienced this?

    But the 32-bit version of SD has no problem finding the library? That would suggest that there is a path stored somewhere in the registry, under a different key in the 64-bit version than in the 32-bit version.

    I am not running the 64-bit version, so I can't check, but you might just do a search in the registry. I see two paths under HKLM\SOFTWARE\Toontrack\Superior\Superior2: one is the application home and the other is the path to the Avatar library. I'm guessing there is a similar key for the 64-bit installation.


    All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

    alright, I'll check on that.  the 32 bit does work fine.  thanks for the advice

    hmm.  I copied my toontrack folder into my program files folder on my C drive.  now it's in that one and the program files (86).  still not working though.  I not to keen on changing things in the registry.

    It sounds to me like you have not installed the 64 bit version of Superior drummer.
     
    If you have not already done so go to your Toontrack account and down load the latest update (2.2.3) for superior drummer and install it.
     
    You may have caused problems by moving things about, you wont know until you have the update loaded. If it still does not work a clean install of Superior drummer may be needed.
