Two Sonars At Once!

Wow!

this was a strange first...

I was loading a new song by my current procedure of

1) close current project
2) open desired project

This avoids the multiple song loads currently problematic with X1...

But when I ran the song which has been running easily forever.... Instead was chugging and the meters were all way higher than normal (cpu)...

In the process of looking around I noticed that there are TWO copies of Sonar X1 running at the same time... It seems one was open and minimized and I must have simply dbl-clicked to open Sonar X1 thinking it not open....

Surprize?

I have not been able to repeat this.... yet...

(BTW... the song is still running cpu higher than I remember and chugging... Maybe I had the latency higher? oops... Yes, the latency was now lower, but raising it didn't make the screen run any smoother as I was used to the the cpu meters ran back where I expected...)

I actually did this by accident as well. Weird I had X1 and 8.5 running together. I don't know why but I panicked a bit for and quickly shutdown 8.5.

Yes two Sonars open at once can be a nightmare scenario, a little like opening a new tub of margarine, then discovering you already had one on the go. I mean, which one do you use?

Someone should write a song about this.

    A little scary at first...

But I could imagine scenarios when it might be handy....

Maybe this is what happened here too (8.5 and X1) and not two x1's as I thought and reacted to (too quicly to pay attention)...

    Maybe this one isn't a bug? ;-)
