Confusing email about X1 upgrade and elite packs

I just got the most confusing email:

"Last day to upgrade to Sonar X1 and save on elite packs"

Does that mean that upgrade pricing on Sonar X1 is going away and I should do it today before the price goes up?  Or does it mean "Upgrade to Sonar X1 today because this is the last day of the elite packs"?  If it's the former I'm going to be honked (because I don't really want to upgrade now but I don't want to pay $400 in the future, either), and if it's the latter then meh.

The following products are exclusive offers for SONAR X1 customers. You must first purchase and register SONAR X1 before you can purchase any of these products.

This offer is for discounted software packs only but you have to upgrade to X1 first. So if you don't want any of the software packs, no problem. You can upgrade to X1 at the same price at a later date. How MUCH later I can't say.
