Recording Tempo Problem

Hopefully someone can help.....every time I record the playback is quite a bit faster than the performance was (??) I've played around with the timecode, the project tempo, the Audiosnap, etc - to no avail.  I just got this program though I'm somewhat familiar with the principles (used to have M-Powered).   This is with audio - not MIDI.   Any suggestions??

    Sounds like your not using a good sound card or your sound card settings are all wrong. anyways, its do to your sound card somehow, someway.

    Try the following (from pg 821 of Sonar 8.5 Reference Guide.pdf):

    1. Choose Options > Project, and click the Clock tab.
    2. Check the Audio box.
    3. Click OK.

    Does the pitch change? Check that you soundcard and Sonar are using the same sample rate.
