sfz player no sound

sfz player no sound

Hi i just dowloaded sfz player and asio

but i when i play my keyboard i hear no sound everythang is set right i think
im useing realtek right now as my soundcard.
 
when i turn sfz player off my computer makes sound like spose to. but when open up
sfz player and load some sounds there be no sound why?
 
im also useing my akiom 25 keyboard as midi control.

    be sure your sounds are mapped to the range you are playing on the keyboard, first off.  Use the transpose key on the axiom - 25 keys isn't a large range and probably won't match drums, etc.  Also make sure you have loaded in a soundfont.

    well i was useing my axiom for testing. im actualy going use my m50 88 keys.

    well i  got it working but that only when playing wav format.
    if i load sfz format there no sound why?

    If you are running Sonar x64, you have to get SFZ+ from the eStore. It's free, even though you have to get it from the eStore.

    Once you install it, make sure you select PR32 under MODE settings. If you don't you will get a message stating 'Insufficient Memory'.

    To test to see if it's working without using your keyboard, click on the little thin gray horizontal bar at the bottom of the SFZ+ screen once you get an SFZ/SF2 file loaded. It's a mini keyboard, but the graphics aren't there, it's just a gray bar. Your mouse cursor will turn to a + sign when you hover over it.

    SFZ player is a soundfont player, not SFZ.  It was René's early attempt at refining sample playback.

    oh well thnx for replies. but i downloaded dim.pro microhost. lot better am i right? lol
    i mean i get chose from over 1000+ sounds and use 1.5 with more sounds
