Inconsistent Behavior - "SHFT-D"

I'm not sure I would say it's a bug, but I have noticed that when you maximize the MD with SHIFT-D and then you do a "D" to minimize it, when you press "D" again, it's maximized...  To minimize it with a Key Binding, you must hit SHIFT-D two times consecutively.

I thought I'd post this in case anybody else was pulling their hair out too...

That's how it's supposed to work. If you leave it maximized when you collapse it, then it should stay maximized when you expand it again. Use D to collapse/expand. And use Shift+D to maximize/minimize when it is expanded, not when it's collapsed.
