X1 new GUI and dll question.

Why so many "legacy" bitmaps left.
e.g. fader bitmaps from 8.5?
I am by no means a software or graphic designer but this seems to be needless .

    Why would I want to do that? If I understood you right faders in X1 are the same as those that were in 8.5. I don't see that as being the case at all. But so what. Really is a fader's look that important?

    Same reasion all the old dialog boxes are from previous versions.

    X1 is reimagined not reinvented.

    they just imagine its a new program but most of it is the same code with a new overcoat.

    for a small change Buddy's Faders and Meters made such a significant change to the appearance. Made SONAR look the goods.
