Quick Snap Question

I see that you can select Musical Snap Time as well as Absolute Time.  I can understand what they both do.  However, what I can't understand is why you can select both at the same time.  What circumstances would you need both on simultaneously?  What will that do for you?  It seems to overule snap all together.

Are you seeing two SEPARATE controls for snap?  If so, then one is local, and the other is global.

I may have been hallucinating after hours of watching it, but I think I remember the Groove 3 video said something about being able to set a global snap, then to override it for individual tracks.

You may want to double-check that.

No, it's in the Control Bar.  There is a top button for Musical Time Snap and underneath it is a button for Absolute time Snap.  I would think that that they would be mutually exclusive where you have the ability to select one or the other but you can actually toggle both on.

Hi Dave.  Yeah, I was wrong about that so I had to go and educate myself.  There's another snap thread here in which I posted my findings.
