Scrub Tool

Hi everyone.

According to the documentation, the Scrub tool can be activated by pressing J

When I press J, I get the  Export File dialog box.

I've been into the Keybindings and sure enough, J is hard wired to Export, and cannot be disassociated with it, so how can I get the Scrub tool to work?

Has anyone else experienced this?

Jonesey.

    It works here as well.

You may want to verify your key bindings settings.   They are located at: EDIT > PREFERENCES (or just the "P" key)   The next to the last menu item in the left column of the preferences dialog is the Key Bindings.

When you get there, to verify (or change a function) a key, check the Computer button at the top of the dialog, then in the left column of that dialog click on the "J".   Just below the column where you clicked the "J", will indicate the current Global Assignment for that key.

    Good Luck

Well, I got it to work eventually.

What I did was to Zap all of my existing keybindings, even though nothing was assigned to J in the first place!!!

    Bloody barmy situation.
