Drop Zone synth question

I have a quick question / possible problem regarding the Drop Synth soft synth.

Are any of you able to adjust any of the parameters within that synth and have them make a difference?

Here is my example... I loaded in the Dragons Breath patch and started to adjust some of the parameters (filters, etc) and none of the changes made any difference.  The virtual pad on the virtual keyboard did alter the sound but nothing else.

I am new to soft synths (hardware guy!) but really liked some of the sounds in this synth so my mindset might be changing a bit!

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks

Joe

you need to turn on write automation ... if thats what you mean , change them in real time? it will store the changes

as it will take CC messages like other synths IRC (not in front of sonar right now)

or if you want to keep a sound, just save out the program.

but you can setup your hardware to modifiy it also if you set up ACT.

    Fog,

Thanks for your help.  Actually, i am not talking about automation.  Just changing the preset sounds by altering the controls like filters, attack, decay etc.

I change those controls but there is no audible difference...hmmmm?

    Thanks!

For starters set the DEPTH knob to maximum, ADSR will then work ...

You probably know this, but DropZone includes 2 seperate 'elements.' Maybe you accidently switched to the 2nd element (which i notice is empty with the Dragon Breath preset). I must admit, i've been adjusting an empty page before and wondered why nothing was happening.

Also, is the filter turned on? It's turned off by default for Dragon Breath, so adjusting the cutoff won't do anything. DropZone highlights active parameters and dulls out unactive parameters - useful for seeing what's going on.
