8.5 Project pan/fades zeroed out in x1

Opened a project ive been working on in 8.5 latest patch, and everything is correct but the panning and the faders are all zeroed out (unity).  SO now I have to remix volumes and pans.  Did I do something wrong is there a specific way to save a project to keep all your settings?

    Try hitting the letter O (OH not ZERO) ;  you may have it in Offset mode.

    I think I saw this when bringing tracks from 8.x to X1.
