pci adapter for my hp laptop

hi i need get firewire pci card for my profire2626. but my laptop has no pci slot.
is there pci adapter for my hp laptop?
i need know before friday
 
im useing windows 7 64bit
hp laptop
profire 2626.

    OK the problem is that you do not say what your laptop does have. None have PCI slots, but cardbus slots, expresscard slots, PCMCIA, and even USB2 to firewire adapters are available. Figure out what you have and choose the fastest available adapter then google it.

    3 usb ports.
    1 ethernet
    compact flash card reader
    cd drive

    is there usb adapter for my firewire?
    i need know what people recomend i dont want spend money
    than it not work. so any opions?
    what a good usb adapter for my profire 2626.
    i think my profire 2626 firewire is a 6 pin

    Probably not. There are a lot of USB to firewire connection cables for sale, but usually they are 4 pin and very often they seem to be sold without any drivers that would allow a particular device to communicate over them. There are some USB plus firewire hubs as well, but it is very hard to find out if they will convert signals, and again the problem may be to recognize the data coming in on the non-standard connection bus without a particular driver. You can call your audio interface support people and see if they know of anything that will do the job (hardware plus drivers) but it is doubtful.

    What is the model of your laptop? It would seem to be unusual for a modern laptop to be sold with a memory card reader instead of one of the slots that allows the use an expansion card. Exactly what does your computer manual say you can put in that slot? Is this a netbook?
