I saw this a few years ago when it came out. It really is a fantastic movie. Surprisingly gripping.  And an utterly fascinating look at some amazing craftsmen.

I just went to add it to my queue, and it was already there. I'll definitely be checking this one out. I've not quite yet watched every music documentary known to man now, so gotta stay on top of my duties here.

    +1

I really enjoyed hearing the various performers talk about what they look for in an instrument, what kind of relationship they have with it.

+1 here as well.  This is a thoroughly absorbing documentary for anyone with an interest in pianos.

There's a nice BBC documentary of the history of the harp on Youtube. She talks to a high end harp builder in Italy. He said that the simpler harps take about 6 months, and the top end ones up to a year to complete.

I stumbled upon this great documentary on Netflix about the Steinway factory. The doc follows the birth of Steinway L1307.

I got to see a few friends in it as well.

A great surprise. I think many people might enjoy watching this video.

It was really inspiring to think about how cool a Piano is.

    Catch it if you can.

Yes, I remember that one. I wonder if there will ever be a L1307 sample pack ?
