The Club

Ok

Now for something totally different than you've heard from me.....

This is the2nd (of 3) that came out of my week long Christmas session

I've had the idea of the laying around for the better part of a year as well now so it was time to finish this one as well...

It started out as just a z3ta+ patch with some drums and a sub

(Oh yeah by the way if you do not have a sub you will be missing 50% of the bass)

So any way.....I must have remixed more times than I can count.....but when I finally hit the process I did "my home is up ahead" with I had to go back an remix this again and I think it just worked.....

the lyrics are very very deep:
Spin
Turn
Dance

or something to that nature..........LOL

I know that this is crazy but I cannot dictate to the music what I want it to be....it just shows me...

the link is

I really do hope you enjoy it...
Let me know what you think

You know your song is good when someone says it made their pant leg vibrate.

I'm really liking this one.  Great job.

Amazing how far a couple remixes can take a piece.

I love it when you go to listen to something and it's absolutely nothing like you expected it was gonna be.  This would sound good with some crunchy guitars here and there and some heavy-ish delay on the the voice.
Mix sounds pretty good on my lappy too.

To say this is not your normal style is a gross understatement.....

BUT... I think you found the "real you" with this style.

I am glad that it was a suprise.....

You know I am playing less and less guitar these days......which is where I started....I am getting more and more into synth kind of stuff.....

so it worked on your Lappy....that is good .... I do have delay on the vox...maybe it is just not enough......I am always afraid of "TOO MUCH".
I went an played these on my pc that have cheaper speakers and your correct that it doenot sound like there is a lot there, but if I listen in my truck or my main monitors especially at higher volumns it's bridging on too much...so I am at the cross roads with this,,,,,If I had a better vox I would be a little more up front with them but they were kind of a last minute well let's just throw them on  and see what happens kind of deal.....

Thanks for the listen and the suggestions.....I will rethink......

To say this is not your normal style is a gross understatement.....

BUT... I think you found the "real you" with this style.

Man this is well done... I have a computer speaker system with a sub... and the lows are evident...

    Herb....just a question......ok maybe two :-)

why do you say it is a gross understatement about my usual style? I've never tried anything like this before.....in fact everything I've posted has been so different....I am having a hard time staying in one style.....in fact wait til you hear my third work from the christmas session's you will really think that I've gone mad!!!

but it is true that I am gravitating away from guitar and into more synth orientated stuff so I cannot fault you for that.....cause it is true....

Funny thing you should mention that I found the real me cause there have been several other personal freinds who have said the very same thing!!!    so you'r not alone in this statement.....which is cool....  :-)

I am also glad you found the lows.....the thing I love about this is just how hard it hit's in the kick and in the lows......It has changed some of the way I think......I guess I have been listening to way too much "Beat" orientated music......

Anyway.....I do appreciate your thoughts and comments.....they always make me smile!
Thanks for the listen my freind

Hey Cliff..Nothing wrong with breaking outta the box when the iron strikes man!!

This was a sonic treat. Listening on the monitors and I love the mix and how it's all panned on this!

From a creative stand-point..I would've thrown in some additional 1-2 second 'snippets' in this thru-out the piece.

I really liked this monster you've created and it shows yer ability and musical range lurking within..you madman!!! :)

I swear this play this song all day on XM radio!   This is really a nice groove.

I imagine you with a keyboard in your truck playing and writing your way across the long haul.

    Cool stuff.
