Control Bar/Transport/Event Inspector Bug - Confirmed

Okay. I thought maybe I didn't understand X1 shortcuts or something, but this just doesn't seem right. I Googled the forum, but didn't find any mention of anything like this:

1. Select one or more MIDI notes in the track view.
2. Click on a field in the Event Inspector, enter a value, and hit enter to apply it.
3. Hit Spacebar to hear the effect of your changes.
4. The Control Bar hides, and the transport does not start.
5. Hit spacebar again, or any other transport control.
6. Control of the transport is lost until you click in the track view somewhere to put focus there.
7.  This seems to happen when you hit Spacebar with the focus just about anywhere in the Control Bar.
8. It can even happen with the focus in the transport module, but that's inconsistent, whereas it's very consistent with the Event Inspector.

Can anyone confirm this before I submit a Problem Report?

I can confirm this (). I can't get it to happen in any other CB module but it definitely happens in the Event Inspector exactly as you describe.

Thanks, Brandon. Easily worked around for the time being. Just wanted to confirm it's not user error or platform-specific.

I'll let you have this one if you fix Set Measure/Beat At Now... pretty please...?

I expect to have some good news on Set Measure/Beat At Now for near future along with other AS fixes. Basic disclaimer applies - nothing set in stone - etc etc, blah blah - but I'm optimistic.

Yes the event inspector and the control bar are mutually incompatible. I mentioned this in my review under some oddities.
