metronome problem (bug?) X1a

I set my metronome to play during record in my preferences, and then to play during playback once again in the preferences menu, both worked fine. But when I went to preferences to turn off the metronome (hitting apply and Ok) the metronome continued to play during playback. The only way I could turn it off was with the control bar metronome icon. I think it's a legitimate bug. Here's my problem report # CWBRN-3825

    You can route the metronome to a bus and use the mute button.

    You can route the metronome to a spare output and use a fader on your monitor mixer

    You can make a midi track from scratch and use that for your metronome and then just mute that track, or bus, or monitor mixer channel.

    I've noticed this also. Execept i dind't turn on the playback metronome at all.  
    It just turns itself on when I go into the preferences menu, change something, and apply. When I close the menu the metronome is suddenly activated during playback.

    My fix for this is just to just click (or double click) on the playback metronome icon (on the right) next to the info display on the toolbar.

    hi, same issue.
    Each time I go to (P) preferences, even if a don't change anything, when closing that P menu, playback metronome is ON.

    playback metronome icon on control bar is as OF so I have to click twice to disengage than damn click.
