Z3TA flips to a different bank/patch

Z3TA flips to a different bank/patch

I want bank 3, patch 5 and it's all correctly selected in the track - but when I press Play or Bounce to Tracks, it flips back to a different bank and patch so I can't record what I want. There's nothing in the MIDI data instructing it to change patches or banks.

Does anyone know what might be causing it or how I can force it to play the required bank/patch?

    It is better to deselect all in the pic above shown and then select the bank and patch in Zeta. Then freeze it. I have the same bug.

    Could be in a different track. Did you check the event list for all MIDI tracks?

    I had this "problem" as well.   Here's how I solved it.

    Go to your midi track view for the Z3TA.   

    Maximize the track view and look at the bank and patch controls for that midi track (left half of the screen).    I'm guessing you'll find that a particular patch has been selected (look below the "bank" field).   This will be the overriding patch selection when you start playing ... regardless of the patch you select in the Synth Rack view.

    If you change that to "None" ... then the midi track will follow the patch you've selected in the Synth Rack view.

    Hope that makes sense.
