    or.... Sonar And-Yet-So-Far?

(Gak, I can't believe I just said that! Sorry! It was just too easy. If I didn't do it, someone else would have. I don't even have X1 so no axe to grind and no pointed intentions...)

    how about  sonar WTF

I'm wondering how many more crashes its gonna take before i have to do a full os reinstall..   i'm kicking myself  pretty hard after buying a whole new phenom quad core to run my beloved X1 thinking it was gonna work even better than 8.5.3. It was bad enough the $99 upgrade didnt come with a box set or printed user guide like 8.5 did for the same price.  its actually $170 if you get the guide and cd box.  I still question my install. still have no dem pro. says i gotta get the latest from cw and when i do it still says i need the latest from cw. and whatever the additional content is wont install until dem pro is reconized.  I havent got one single prodject completed in X1 since the midnight it came out.   Never thought I'd say this but, I should have spent a couple hundred more and just bit the bullet and got pt9-hd.  I feel dirty now, I need a shower..

Phenom Quad core,  8gb ram, 3.5tb of Fine Music Storage Vault Under Armed Guard w/ UAV support (air-hog chopper), set of MA-15D, Delta 10-10 pci w/interface, m-box 3 pro, projectmix I/O, Metal Pop Filters, Two SKB cases Full of Suck Removal Buttons, Cedar Walls, Stripper Pole (helps with mastering & block priceing) more stuff i'm to lazy to add. ;)
P.S. good Memory foam is freakin awesome.

You'll need more than a couple of hundred to get PT9 HD tha'll set you back $2.5K. that's $599 for PT9 + $1995 for the Complete Construction Kit Tools that make PT9 = to PT9HD minus the hardware. Just been checking it out myself.

I concur, no PDC for 3rd party convertors, no 64 bit, limited automation features and the bonus, almost $2000 for the about 90% of Sonar feature set. PT9 is not an option if you are mad about X1.
