How does one edit MIDI velocity in X1?
I though we click on the bar and type in velocity, but that doesn't seem to work? Looked in the help file and still don't understand.... Thanks

With the smart tool double click the note.

Hi Larry will this allow me to type in a specified value (not at my DAW as of now)? Thanks, Randy

Let me jump in on this one... How do I select a velocity trail and edit it graphically? I made another post before I found this thread. Simple problem: I can't do anything with velocity tails in a controller pain. They also do not have handles. I can double click a note and change the number. But I want to do it graphically.

In PRV you should see the controller pane at the bottom (if not, check View/"Show/Hide Controller Pane") One of the lanes should be called velocity, and you can use the draw tool (in Smart Tool, ctrl/lmb) and draw away. Does this work for you?
