Adjusting Note Velocity on multiple notes

This must be easy to solve. I have been changing my note velocity one at a time from the start because I cannot find a way of highlighting all selected notes and then changing their velocity together. I've put up with it for a while but it's frustrating me now...Please tell me there's a simple way of doing this... The Help files don't seem to tell me there's a way either.

I have actually found the Scale Velocity option but this will only help in creating cresendos/decrescendos

Thanks

Scale velocity should be able to change all selected note velocities to a fixed amount or by a percentage.  If you want all the notes changed the same amount use percentages and make both the start and end velocities the same.

The most direct and fastest method is to show the Event Inspector. Select the notes you want to change ( use lasso  or select a clip  or select events separately in the Piano Roll view). How ever you want to select them,  Simply type the velocity you want in the velocity pane.  Done. You can also select to change the channel...duration  etc etc. It's the fastest type of midi editor Sonar offers.

Thanks Chappel and Rbh

The scale velocity has its advantages for cresendos which I will use certainly but I think the Event Inspector toolbar is just the ticket. Never used it before so thanks for suggesting it....

I've got the Event Inspector Toobar permanently docked at the top of the screen with the other toolbars I use frequently just to accomplish this sort of thing.

You can change other parameters using this, not just velocity - Note #, Midi channel, Note Length etc.
