OLDER PCI424 drivers
Hello, does ANYONE have the older drivers for the MOTU PCI424??? I need version 1.6.7.5. or EARLIER. The 1.6.9.2's and up have been giving me the blues...

Dave Allison, thanks for responding. For some reason, I'm having trouble opening the file.

No problem downloading it here.. I just renamed it without the dots in case that helps.. Right click the file name and choose 'save as' Make sure the saved file extension is '.zip' Don't try to run setup within the .zip file, extract it first That's about all I can think of.. . pci32 1.6.7.0 is a 32bit driver, I think it runs on XP or Vista I also uploaded 1.6.6.1 which is about the last of the old XP only drivers, maybe that will work for you..

Thank You Dave, I did get both with no problems this time. It seems as if I'm just going to have to contact MOTU Monday to see if they can help me get rid of this crackling and popping the card is doing all of a sudden...

I've had solid performance from my Motu gear on XP with all of the drivers mentioned above at various times, as I do now on Windows 7 64 bit. I think there's going to be more to it than looking for a driver that works... Have you tried this ? http://www.thesycon.de/deu/latency_check.shtml

Oh, the computer is rock solid, I'm able to get down to 1ms latency ASIO and 4.3 ms WDM on 48K 24 bit.. It worked well before I just took it to have it cleaned. Somewhere in doing THAT, I've been noticing crackling in my audio. I could remember a similar time this happened years ago trying to update to a newer driver, so I stayed with my older version, lol. NOW, I don't know what to think. I guess I'll try a different Audiowire Port and see if I STILL get the random clicking and popping...
