How the heck do you amend the title of a thread?

I just want to reflect that a song has been updated without starting a new thread.
What am I missing?

I just updated my song. Check it out!

Strange, and I just noticed that myself. Weird.

Bob, just use the 'edit message' function on one of your posts in the thread.

Ditto... just click MESSAGE OPTIONS> EDIT MESSAGE then... simply click in the Subject bar and change whatever you need to change.

be sure to click "save change"

although it will change the title of the thread, those changes aren't reflected in what shows up in the forum overview bit (when new posts are made in it), just so you know. can be a bit confusing.

When I amend a thread say...with a substancially new mix... I add "new mix" or something like it to the title and also try to post a new "marker" where that change took place in the time line so people who heard the original mix, and now see the notice of change, can read the commentary on the first mix and people just coming in for the first time know this is a second mix.....

I find it helps if you include something like "PHOTOGRAPHIC PROOF OF ALIEN VISITATION!!" In the title? That really brings them in...
