S8.3.5 Pro And Omnisphere With Intel Core i5-650??

My computer is probably going to be replaced under warranty.

I had:

Core2 Quad Q9400 2.66 GHz,
6MB cache,
8GB Ram,
S8.5.3x64 Producer in Win7x64and three drives.

I will be getting:

Core i5-650@3.3 GHz,
4MB cache,
8GB RAM,
S8.3.5x64 Producer ,also in W7x64, and the same drives. 

The Q9400 was great, but I dunno how Omnisphere would have worked.

I am concerned about the smaller cache, and about moving to a dual core system from a true 4 core.

Is any one running Omnisphere on a Core i5-650, and if so how's it working??
