Beagle!! I think I fixed my SD2. HS7xl crashing in Win 7

After intensive searching, working and playing around with HS7xl, SD2, and windows 7, I think I fixed my SD2, SI crashing.  It wasn't just SD2, SI crashing, it was SHS7xl as well...

After playing tracks in track view I recorded, I would stop the track in the middle and then it would hang up(as it would with SD2, SI, etc.)..

I did a simple reboot of the computer and that fixed it!!   I usually keep my computer in sleep mode(as the documentation for my computer said to not turn it off, just let it sleep) ...

well.. after a simple reboot, all seems well (for now at least!!)  I'm thinking the sleep mode kept some processing running that seem to crash my HS7xl, rebooting, resets everything to working order.

Thanks Reece for all your help and insight... you are truly one of the shining stars on this board for help and advice!!!

Thanks again,

Andy(gtr1963)

ah good!  sometimes we forget to try the little things!

but on a side note.  sleep mode is generally not good for DAWs.  I'd disable that feature if I were you.
