"Failed to insert soft synth. The synth may not be properly installed"

i know this is a old question but, a problem that im having now . So im hoping for a quick solution. The problem lies with "Pentagon I" i tried to open it the other day and it threw up this "Failed to insert soft synth. The synth may not be properly installed" im searching the forums now for what to do. I saw something about making a change in "REGEDIT" but, looking for more help. I have already tried a reinstall and it didnt fix it. All other plug-ins work fine. runnung 8.5 prod.

    If the computer operating system is Windows Vista or Windows 7 with UAC security enabled try running the SONAR host "As Administrator" or try disabling UAC to see if it that helps it to work correctly.  Pentagon I was released long before Vista/Win7 and has not been updated to be compliant with Microsoft's new systems.

    Hi techead:

    He posted the same post in another thread. I told him to run SONAR as admin, and that fixed it for him.
