Music Creator 5 "Not Properly Installed"

Hey, I've been using Music Creator 5 for a few weeks here and have been loving it! I started recording some basic stuff and I'm very proud of my small accomplishments, but today I went to go start up Music Creator 5 and a pop-up window that says "Music Creator is not properly installed. Please reinstall using your original CD (Code = 1)" came up. As soon as I press "ok" or the x button, it closes Music Creator 5. I tried installing again with my CD and the same message is there. Also, before I tried to install, my previous recordings didn't seem to be in the Music Creator 5 folder in my documents, and still aren't there.

Does anyone know what to do?

Any responses appreciated.

    i'm having a similar problem im trying to upgrade my music creator but it's always saying Cannot locate the required patch. Please install the correct patch to the system. WTF does all that mean

    tell us about the system.....what operating system are you using,,,, is it 32 or 64 bit ....and it would be really helpful if we knew which version of MC you are trying to install.
