well I'm a Cubase/Reason user (don't hate me) and I have been trying Sonar X1 for the past day or two, and so far I'm liking it.
 
I haven't done a session yet and I'm going to wait until I get my feet wet;
but early first impression not bad.
the pro channel sounds pretty nice to my ears.

Sonar X1
RME 800
Windows 7 (64)
Ram (plenty)

Reason/Cubase/Ivory2/EastWestSamples/Kontact

    Wow, I be watching this thread for sure!

    I find Sonar very easy to use once I "learnt it". Very powerful.
