No effects bin in Track View? (Resolved)

I did a search and came up dry.

Is it true that there is no way to see an effects bin in track view? The only place I saw to place effects is in the Console. A little inefficient to say the least.

in track view, to the right of the now time, there is a drop down menu. Is this by any chance set to "custom"? Anyways, click on it and at the bottom there is the track control manager. Try that and see if you can access it that way.

Yes, that was in fact the issue. I just returned to post that I had figured it out and came across your post. You know how it is...information overload. Thanks for the info!

just to add something I found out the other day..
when you open that track control manager you have options to add and delete track-presets..
if you delete the "custom"-preset from within that dialog, Sonar will open all projects with the "all" preset in the future..
that is the kind of behaviour that is ideal for me..

there's a small issue when you try to retrieve the custom preset..
in german it's called "Benutzerdefiniert",.. so when you try to add that original preset again to the list, Sonar tells you the preset name is limited to 12 characters..
