No probs Garry, looks like a good night on BBC4 - a couple of repeats if people missed them before. Probably need the Sky+ or the DVD recorder for the later stuff though:
    • 10.00pm: Iron Maiden - Flight 666
    • 11.55pm: Classic Albums - Paranoid
    • 12.50am: Springsteen's The Promise - The making of 'Darkness on the Edge of Town'
    • 2.20am: Bruce Springsteen: Darkness Live 1978
    • 3.20am~4.20am: Rpt of the Thin Lizzy documentary

Thats cheered me up Steve, I had a really s"*t day in hospital today, one thing I have learned truly this last year is how music helps to trancend many of lifes travails.

A good night in front of some great music documentaries will be just the ticket. BBC4 is a great outlet for this sort of stuff don't you think?

Yes, I agree completely Garry - for some of the gems I've spotted, my weekly copy of What's On TV is worth every penny

Trouble is, they don't seem to push this sort of stuff on the main channel. Compare the almost complete lack of any information (on BBC1) about programmes on BBC4 with the constant trailers for some of the sh1te on BBC3 (Family Guy excepted, but they don't tell you about that on BBC1).

True Steve, BBC4 is a veritable cornucopia for music lovers, loved the program on the Sheffield music scene in the 70's / early 80's.

With regard to Family Guy - have you heard? ...
