no sound during playback??? new user

I installed v studio drivers, guitar tracks and editor properly last night. I messed around with previewing drums. I put together a drum track and it was playing back fine for me..this morning I fired up the computer and started up guitar tracks. I then opened my project from the night before. All the tracks were there in the track view and when i hit play the meter started running but you can not hear any sound? so i opened a new project and tried previewing some drum sound waves and could not hear them....but if i drag it into the track i can play it back and hear it??? I re-installed the driver and still nothing..any help please. you can reply here or call me at 609-332-2818 thank you very much

Not sure about GT4, that is the software, right? But in Guitar Tracks Pro 4, and others there is a box that asks for preview output. Should be a drop-down box, thats all I can think of, and do you have something set to play the drums through? Like I said not sure about your set-up, but in others, you have to have a soft-synth, or Studio Instruments Drums, or something to play the preview through, as well as an output. Hope I didnt confuse more than you are, but a couple of suggestions, good luck!
