    Excellent job on the cover.

    Just curious... many folk come here discussing the aspect of buying licensing rights to record a cover.... If you don't mind answering.... What did it cost you to buy licensing to do this legally?

    Thank you.  It would depend on how many you intend on "selling" and the current statutory rate.


    The statutory mechanical royalty rate for physical recordings (such as CDs) andpermanent digital downloads is:  9.10 Cents per copy for songs 5 minutes or less  or  1.75 Cents per minute or fraction thereof, per copy for songs over 5 minutes.
