It was weird when it started because it seemed like things were a little out of sink or something? But then when the walking bass came in, it gelled. 

A sunshine avoider, a shadow lurker LOL! I could hear this playing in a "gentlemen's club?" with a girl workin the pole...

Sounds like Louisiana blues to me....good job of making a song out of Robby's awesome rant...LOL... I think that post got more responses than any other post I've seen...LOL

Hey Robby.  I hope that you didn't mind my spinning off from your post.  Ya -- "the boys" were kinda wandering around with their notes during the "call to order" (sort of old style Blues fashion --- that's why I don't call it an intro).  May be we should just call it being loose (LOL).  Great graphic on your second response Robby.  Chicken to the bone --- hmmmm.

Hi Dave.  I have to be honest --- I don't have the skill, talent, or knowledge to intentionally try to make a song hi or lo fi (but I am trying to gain the knowledge - lol).  What I was trying to go for was a small room or a more one-on-one feel and I guess that my attempt resulted in a lo-fi feel.  Oh well, nothing ventured nothing gained.  If only I knew what I was doing!.?*%#  Thanks for the listen and feedback -- I appreciate it.  Oh ya,  thanks for noticing the picture.  My son did it up (says the proud father).  It is supposed to be Freddy J and his musical influences (the Freds from that silly story that I did several weeks ago). 
 
Hello Mike.  Louisiana, Piedmont, Chicago, Texas -- all the Blues all sound good to me.  Thanks for the feedback.  Robby not only has talent musically but a gift for generating responses.

Thanks Mark.  A bunch of years ago (a whole lotta bunch), I was listening to a Blues group of old timers that was playing the county fair.  Every time they would come back from break, they would all start playing something (not necessarily together) until after a few seconds it would blend into a great driving,rhythmic song.  I talked to one of them and he called that beginning a "call to order".  He said when playing the southern Blues circuit of the 1950's and early '60's, it was sometimes hard to get the audience back.  So many of the groups had some kind of call to order to get the audience attention before taking on the song.  I thought that was a great story and kind of a neat idea.

Real interesting intro.... Good ole Blues for sure.... All that's missing is someone blowin on a harp...... - Lurkin !!! -

Hey Grant.  There is so much good stuff on this forum that it is hard to comment on everything.  I know that I certainly have expanded my interest in various genre while lurking aroung the forum.  Thanks for taking the time to listen and commenting.
