Delete All Automation Envelopes?

hey guys (in X1) I'm automating a plugin that's being used as an Fx on audio channel, everything is working fine, the auotmation envelopes are drawn, all good

troulbe comes in when i want to delete all of the envelopes, don't see a way to easily do that

Work around is delete them one by, first by selecting the individual envelope from the tracks "clip" drop list then right clicking on the envelope and choosing delete from the context menu.  Very laborious, escpecially if there are 8 envelopes

Any suggestions, am I overlooking something?

Thanks all

Tom

If it is track automation, you can do this:

    (from the Help file)
To delete several or all envelopes
    1.  Select the data that contains the envelopes you want to delete—you can select parts of tracks, one or more whole tracks, or all tracks.

    2.  Use the Edit > Cut command to open the Cut dialog box.

    3.  Select Track/Bus Automation if it’s listed.

    4.  Select Clip Automation if it’s listed.

    5.  Click OK.

I don't know how to delete clip automation using that method without also deleting the events in track.

    Regards,
    Don

    1. Select the clip(s) or track(s) or select all (Ctrl+A) to select all tracks/buses.
    2. Choose Edit > Delete.
    3. Uncheck all options. Then put a checkmark next to Clip Automation for clip envelopes and/or Track/Bus Automation for track/bus envelopes.
    4. Click OK.

    All envelopes will be deleted.

Thanks guys- but one minor addition, I've found that unless you have the "Edit filter" drop down in the track header set to "Clips" you can cut envelopes from an individual clip in the track.  monor but very frustrating point

    Thanks again

Update 2017 -  Step 2: Select Edit > Delete Special (use Ctrl-Z if you selected Delete and want your track back... ;)
    4. Click OK.
