Nice relaxing 'drone out' music Wookie.  I liked the stereo effects it really added to the whole experience.  One minor thing was the break part 1:10-1:14ish ..didnt seem as smooth as the rest of the song
Overall a pleasant listening experience as it cradled my ears and rocked them to relaxation

"A walk in the woods at dusk with rain" - captured very nicely!! Quite peaceful and at times dreamy like when your mind is wandering at the end of the day. Very enjoyable!!

I listened twice John, and have to say that it was the most relaxed I've felt all day.  Very pretty, evocative piece of music... I wish it had been longer.

After what you've been listening to today, anything would be peaceful, right?

BTW, if you want Wookiee's song to be longer you could scotch tape 3 or 4 copies together. That should do the trick.

Hey man nice work! I really enjoyed this very much. Beautiful guitar sound! I would just "gel" the first part together with the rest of the song a little more smoothly. It sounds a little like two separate tracks but love how it comes back at the end. So a similar smooth transition from the first part to the rest would make this a 10/10 for me. But well done, very interesting. I give it 9/10 easy!

Listened to it in a Genelec fitted studio room running Firefox and Nuendo ha ha!

EDIT: Actually, I change my score to 10/10. listened to it on full blast and noticed some tiny bits that keep it all together for me. nicely done;)

Lovely piece John, very enjoyable. Could be just the right soundtrack for my next hike through the woods. Nice guitar tone, and your choice of notes and phrasing is very pleasing.

Hi John ,excellent composition and very nice choice of sounds. The only thing I find a bit distracting is the intonation of the guitar, especially when it comes back in at 1:40.

    Greetings, Rik

Thank you again glad it appealed

    Marius: thanks for the edit.

    Mark: now I understand.

Rik: Aren't Les Pauls lovely for that. I do check all my guitars regularly and I do tune before every recording just one of life's subtle nuances.

Mike:  I think I understand the transition you refer to but it sounds fine played on a CD not sure there is much I can do to change it.

Like the mix. Very nice and airy. Actually reminds me of some stuff that I did a while back. Might have to revisit them and see if i can get them to sound as good as this.
