Minus 17? Real temp or wind chill? Either way..... that's cold.
Chatted with Beagle last night a bit.... he said was 28 going to the low 20's... that's cold to me....
Here in NC we see the teens from time to time and on rare occasions we get some single digit stuff, but fortunately not often.
Below 40 is cold to me.

It's so cold here....everything's frozen....
except what's in my nose. :( I suppose there's a good reason for that, but it's sure annoying.
It was 18 when I WALKED to work this morning.
Fortunately it was only 10 minutes. But it was still cold.

I just talked to my best friend in Chicago, -20 in Barrington. I didn't tell him it was 78 today in Southern California. Kind of a spring day, the grass smelled great expiring a bit from the heat. I guess no one up north wants to hear this.....

7 here actual temp. Warmed up a little, it was 2 a few hours ago. Supposed to get down to 3 tonight. Last night ... -15 with wind chill. It's really neat at night when it's this cold. Light's create a beam that shoots hundreds of feet in the air reflecting off the ice crystals in the air. I can see train tracks 2 miles south of my house from my living room and it's cool watching them go across the landscape shooting that huge beam of light up in the air.

We were down to about -25 the other night, not counting the wind chill. Pretty dangerous to be out and about without good reason.

It was -18 real temp yesterday morning when I went to work, and honestly, I didn't think it was that bad. There was no wind, thankfully. Today it's like 18, with wind, and I'm gonna stay inside!
