Legato in Square I

Hey everyone. Reading through "Cakewalk Synthesizers: From Preset to Power User." This an excerpt from the free online download regarding Square I:

The two controls that are not available on Square’s interface are:
• Legato mode
• Filter Normalize
The functions are not documented in Square’s manual, but they appear to work the same
way as the similar functions in Triangle I, so you’ll need to use your host to operate these
controls.

Does anyone here know how to do this with Sonar 6.2.1 Studio? I'd like to have legato mode and possibly filter normalize for a few of my programs. Thanks.
