How is this interface?

Been looking at RME HDSP 9632 - PCI Digital Audio Card - It's only $499 comes with 2 in/2 out digi in and out and midi in/out breakout cables. Thought all their stuf was expensive. The reason I am looking is because down the raod it can be expanded pretty easy to many ins and outs.
Thanks

Honestly anything that RME does is fantastic!
I´m using their stuff since 10 years and it never left me once.

Their drivers are the best on the market, you can easily go down to 3 ms and it´s rock solid!

If you never had an RME card you will be remembering my words :-)

Strat I was tempted to buy a RME HDSPe AIO , but sadly they delayed it buy a year!! and I couldn't wait. dunno what the difference in price is there though.

I'll probably buy one in the future though.

    TOP
I'm working with the RME HDSP 9236 with Sonar X1. Absolut TOP. I also have the RME Fireface 800 (also top). Both are rock solid.

Couldn't help notice here's a user who had problems with their RME card. Really weird how all this stuff works/doesn't work for each user.

First time I´m hearing someone having BSOD´s cause of an RME driver,
usually BSOD´s have many other reasons, first off RAM failure, so contacting the support of RME wouldn´t be the worst choice before selling it .. hmm...

From what I've read on this and other forums, RME drivers are top notch.  Seldom hear of problems w/ them.  Good hardware, too.  Maybe not as well respected as Lynx and more upscale convertors, but you should have excellent sound for years.

Good buy, esp. with the expandability.
