Recording Drums using Audio Out and changing the volume of only one drum head?

I am recording drums using the audio out of my drums and so what happens if I want to increase the snare only? how do I do that without using EQ?

    Using an E drum or V drum kit (I assume that's what you mean when you say your using audio out), no, the only way after it's been recorded to bring up the snare is find & boost it's stronger frequencies with an eq.  IF you have not yet recorded the tracks you can probably adjust the snare up (or other drums down)  within your drum module.

LP, Epi. Lp, Dillion Tele, Ibanez beater, Ibanez Ergodyne 4 String bass, Mapex Mars series 6 pc. studio kit, cymbals and other sh*t.

    Not by using the audio out.  After it's recorded nope.... eq can accentuate the freqs of the snare but it's not going to be as easy as if you had recorded it midi and multitrack. Accentuating the snare freqs will also boost the other parts of the kit in that same range.

    Placing each drum on it's own midi channel/track allows you to have complete control over the kit after the recording is done.

    Many edrum brains will have velocity adjustment per instrument.

    Maybe you can turn up the snare or turn everything else down.
