pyro 5 - upgrade, anyone?

Hello All-
Sorry for posting this here. Don't know where else to go to for an answer short of contacting support (my next step). I posted to the pyro forum a couple hours ago - I know I should be patient - but I got a sneaking feeling I will get the help I need here. You guys are THAT good!
I bought Pyro 5 a few years back. I am in the process of getting a new computer running Windows 7 64-bit. It seems clear by the Pyro FAQ that Pyro 5 will not run in 7.

However, I cannot seem to fine any special update or upgrade provisions from Cakewalk for Pyro 5 users. Have I missed something?

Am I back to square one?

Any suggestions or observations welcome!

I had pyro 5 and switched from xp to vista and it ran like crap in vista - and wasn't supported couldn't edit anything - it was useless from what I recall  - that was a few years ago

cake is pretty much DONE with pyro 5

However - on a great note - I bought Audio creator 1.5 - which is the NEW and improved Pyro >> http://www.cakewalk.com/products/audiocreator/

it's only $39.99 - You can do lots with it - red book  - fade in and out of tracks - add Fx's and master in it - edit wave forms - convert to mp3 format or convert to wave

and it runs perfect in vista - windows 7 - xp - yada yada

I would spend the 40 bucks and get that -- its better than pyro 5 was

    go for it!!

    Mooch-

Thanks for the suggestion. I was hoping for something from Cakewalk like "Pyro 5 users can upgrade to Audio Creator 1.5 for the low, low upgrade price of $19.99".
