Help me understand Muse Receptors

It appears that Muse Receptors use to have Kontakt/Komplete loaded on them and that sometime last year or so they changed to having IK MM / Sampletank on them.  is this correct?

why did this change happen?  were kontakt ones difficult to maintain or did kontakt stop supporting them or what?  was it a special version of kontakt or could you load kontakt that you already bought on it?

are the used ones on ebay that had kontakt stuff on them worth buying?
