I did it...

I made a conscious effort, a most difficult decision, and ...
 
I did not watch the State of the Union Address. Not only that, I missed the responses, ignored the news shows on all channels, and did not read any of the news stories on the web.
 
I will not continue in the global warming discussion, it has reached its end, and I don't think I made anyone too angry there.
 
Life is too short, this recent episode was a wake up call. No more 24/7 news, in fact, blow it up, I don't care. If the smoke starts blocking out my sunshine, I'll move. If the screaming gets too loud, ear plugs.

    It's a beautiful thing!!!

    It's liberating to be free of all that noise.

    My TV tuner broke 2 months ago and now I just watch conspiracy theory documentaries on NetFlix... it's great... no commercials!
