V-Vocal poof??

I am assuming that a V-Vocal crash to desktop has been reported, right?

After working for a very long time with V-Vocal, I was tweaking a wave and X1 goes POOF!! right to desktop.

    Yeah I reported it.

I have discovered that it seems to occur when I have 32bit VSTis under BitBridge in my project that are not frozen.
Once these instruments are frozen V-Vocal can work, so I suspect a BitBridge problem.

I reported it on CWBRN-3942 and was asked for a *.dmp file.
I have sent the *.dmp file 3 times but the report Status is still reporting More Info Required - please send us the *.dmp file....

I don't believe that my situation produced a dump. There seems to be an issue with Waves plugins and cakewalk producing a dump in an error scenario. I think this is even more troublesome when you get a poof to desktop.

There needs to be some tracing tools for the user to have in case of a situation like this.

Subsequently, a restart of X1 allowed me to continue.

    Thanks for the reply.
