Cant open project

I am working in sonar 8.5 producer.  I have a project which is somewhat large for me (50 or so tracks).  I had been working on it but put it aside for a month or so.  I try to open it.  At the botton it says Openning 100% but the project never opens.  I have restored the file from a backup and the same result.  It seems it is hanging.  I have never had this problem with this project before.

Any ideas would be really appreciated.

Thanks,
John

Have you tried opening the project in safe mode (i.e. by pressing the shift key while selecting the file from within Sonar)?

Yes eventually I was able to load the project.  However, it really makes no sense to me.  I have not added anything different to the project.   So it is the same project I was able to open all along.  The only thing that changed was I installed X1 on my machine.  I thought that might have been the issue.  But this project was never opened with X1.

There should be a file that you can view to see what is causing the problem on failed openning.  There were a bunch of pluggins loaded.  Thankfully I was able to open after a few tries.

    Thanks again, John
