Forum closing...

"Brandon announced that the SONAR forum would be closing down. I dutifully reported that in the CH forum but no one seemed to care, not even bapu." Bitflipper

I missed the post where Bit mentioned that.

I kinda thought I might come here to a closed sign, and not surprised that there was no notice, so
if that's the future I don't think Sonar will be on my PC much longer. No reason to list my reasons
but in case tomorrow there's a closed sign.....see ya! and best to you guys and gals.

I read it in Bit's NAMM thread. I quoted Bit. So don't know more than what he said other than
hated to see it close and no chance to say bye to the many friends I've made here over the years.
And I sure wouldn't put it past them just to up and close it without a notice.

Not unless they close the forum.
I'm surprised at the posts....I thought Bit posted here and I missed it???? That's what he said and it didn't sound
like a joke especially saying that Brandon told him...I don't know.

Even if they close this....I'm still finishing your bass and I gotta tell you....it's really going good. And I'm
not teasing. I think it's going to be 5 strings of bad to the bone. Wasn't concerned about that as we have
e-mail if they lock the door.

Once it closes, I'm gonna claim I had more posts than anyone, not that it matters.

BTW spacey, it was all in jest.

The statement by Brandon that is.

I guess we'd soon enough start up a new forum though - the 'Other Place' that some ex-members formed when the original CH was closed down is one example of that.

We even have our own forum for the CHB members - and we're all moderators!

Mind you Michael, we've had some problems with that new guy Philz and the swearing

I've had to go in to some of his posts with my mod hat on and edit in a few decent cusses

    Man, like 8 pages..and I missed that.
My wife ask me last night, "so when did you get to be old?"...I'm starting to see signs...well it happens
every winter when I can't ride my softail. Now don't you bleedin' hearts feel for me! An old hippy that rides
a Harley, plays and builds guitars but slips now and then...it ain't so bad. It's a wonder it's all not just part
    of my imagination!
