ThreadSchedulingModel question

ThreadSchedulingModel 1 or 2 for intel I5. I have it set to 1 right now, but even though it is an I5 processor, since hyperthreading is on doesnt the computer see it as 4 cores? Should I set ThreadSchedulingModel to 2 instead?

Noel has said to use 2 for quad processors and higher, 1 for dual processors. The i5 comes in two flavors, a quad-core and a dual-core. Some models do not do hyperthreading. So you'll need to figure out which type you've got.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.
