ThreadSchedulingModel 1 or 2 for intel I5.

ThreadSchedulingModel 1 or 2 for intel I5. I have it set to 1 right now, but even though it is an I5 processor, since hyperthreading is on doesnt the computer see it as 4 cores? Should I set ThreadSchedulingModel to 2 instead?

    On my quad-core I've tried both 1 and 2.  2 seems a tiny bit better.

    Experiment - there's no harm.

    General rule of thumb is
    0 = Single Processor
    1 = Two Cores or Single Core with Hyper threading
    2 = More than 2 Cores

    Don't forget to turn on "Use Multi-Processing Engine" in your preferences (likely on by default). It's in the Playback and Recording section.

    Don't fix it in the mix ... Fix it in the take!
