man, that is very inconsistent.  So you recieved your serial via email?  I got my "download code" by email and link to downloads worked great... history doesnt show my purchase... thus, no serial... bummer

Yay!
Tried the Link in the email again, and this time, instead of sending me to my sales history and clicking details, it autmoatically routed me to the X1 download section.  Odd... might wanna check that out though, that server error.

Did you logon to store.cakewalk.com and then go to your list of registered products and then click on download on the row with Sonar X1? I just tried it and it worked fine.

That did not work for me.  You have to press details on your purchase history, becuase X1 does not show up as a registered product.  But for some reason, when I used the link in my email, as soon as i logged in (this time, but not last time) it took me straight to X1 download page.

Yep thats what I did.  Does not show up in my order history and does not provide me a Serial number.  What I dont get is that I did recieve the purchase email... and the link to download worked great.  I just cant install untill a serial number shows up... and there is no love from Cakewalk late on Friday/ Saturdays.... this is really a bad way to take care of your customers...

It's funny because I remember this same routine happening for folks throuout 7 (store really blew then), 8 and 8.5  I didnt have any issues then at all>  I guess it was just my turn?

WTF.

A little update- X1 just popped up in my "My Registered Products" but still does not contain a serial... this is really frustrating.

Note to self... never plan on doing an upgrade with cake over the weekend.

Well when you're all good 'n cozy, maybe a warm cup of cocoa, and you've poked around X1 for a bit... be sure to jump into one of the many pro-X1/anti-X1 threads. They're lots of fun! Better than making music, some say...

Don't feed the trolls. Some people just can't seem to say anything productive.

I had to contact tech support to get a reg number in the end (online did not work for me).
Of course I can't see any record of my serial/registration when logging into my online account after 40 mins on the phone . Cake if you see this please join up my account (you should have my email address in this online database).... thanks.

So were you able to download X1 this weekend? My peeps tell me the server, or rather CDN, is fine.
